Saturday, September 12, 2026 — an all-ages show with The Headless, War on the Horizon, and Shadow of the Talisman, plus a run of show-only merch and other surprises in store.
Flint, Mich. — Aug. 2, 2026. The Headless will host an all-ages show at Flint Local 432 (124 W. First St.) on Saturday, September 12, 2026, alongside War on the Horizon and Shadow of the Talisman. Doors open at 6 p.m., and admission is $5 at the door. The night doubles as a birthday celebration for the band’s Andy Lenox, with a run of show-only merch and other surprises in store.
The Headless, a heavy space rock and alt-metal band from Flint, have released two singles in 2026, “Another Cloth” and “Cast into the Firmament,” with a third, “Digging My Feet in the Earth,” arriving around the time of the show. All were recorded with producer Marc Hudson at Rancho Recordo. The band takes its cues from Failure, Baroness, Faith No More, and Superheaven, and several of its members previously played in Diver, former Flint mainstays.
Andy Lenox, who sings and plays guitar in The Headless, also plays guitar in War on the Horizon, so he performs in two of the evening’s three sets.
The night also brings a run of merch sold only at the door and nowhere online: limited-edition print posters, cassette singles pressed in a run of 100, and new shirt and sticker designs, with other surprises in store.
Three bands, a night of show-only merch, and a five-dollar door make for an easy night to cover and an easier one to attend. Doors are at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, at Flint Local 432 in downtown Flint.
